Story:

This site was created in memory of my grandfather, Joseph Sokol (1916 - 1955), a painter who graduated from the Surikov Institute and was a member of the Union of Artists in Moscow in Soviet times. Joseph never signed his paintings, in view of his modesty. Because of this, almost all of them were stolen or lost after his death, and now it is difficult to change anything. However, I want to pay tribute to my grandfather: in memory of him, I called this platform Sokol (Falcon) Arts.
